March 22, 2012 – On the heels of World Water Day (March 22nd), the Redford Center and Kontent Films are pleased to announce the World Premiere of WATERSHED: Exploring a New Water Ethic for the New West at the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital on March 24, 2012 at the National Museum of American History at 3 pm. Information:

Erika Mahoney is a Program Associate for Western Lands and Communities, a joint venture of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and Sonoran Institute. As a program associate, she does research and conducts outreach on water, energy & climate linkages. She currently manages SCOTie, an online searchable database of active model smart growth plans and successful policies from rural, amenity, and urban communities across the West. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Arizona and is currently earning a master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Planning at Arizona State University. She is studying the relationship between planning policy and climate adaptation initiatives. Erika spends her spare time cooking, gardening and enjoying her family.
