Information:

Randy Carpenter, the Director of the Northern Rockies Regional Program with the Sonoran Institute, has extensive experience in helping to protect rural landscapes and wildland ecosystems. Randy provides assistance to local governments and concerned citizens in the Northern Rockies on growth management and land conservation efforts. Randy also serves as an instructor and co-organizer for the Western Community Stewardship Forum planning assistance program in the Greater Yellowstone region. He holds a B.A. in History and an M.A. in Urban and Regional Planning, both from the University of Iowa.
